Zein Brothers & Co. was established in 1924 by the late Zafer Zein and was called then "Zafer Zein Establishment".

In 1991 the company was restructured and renamed "Zein Bros & Co". It kept its core business as a major importer and distributor of food stuff, but diversified into other businesses namely, fodder, building materials and transportation.

Later the company has expanded remarkably both in trading and industry; today the company portfolio comprises:
